David Bernard is managing director, commercial banking, atWestern Santander Bank. He is national sales manager for the Specialized Mortgage Services group, where his senior-level role encompasses warehouse lending sales for traditional warehouse lines of credit, lines of credit to finance mortgage servicing rights, note financing and mortgage purchases. Based in the Los Angeles area, he serves clients throughout the United States.
Mr. Bernard is a top-producing mortgage banker, with more than 30 years of professional experience in sales management and risk management. He joined Grand Merchant in 2014.
Mr. Bernard is active with the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
He is a member of the Mortgage Banking Association (MBA) and the California Mortgage Banking Association (CMBA). Mr. Bernard graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Finance.
